I was persuaded to try the "Friends Re-united" website and found you on there. From there I went to your website. It certainly brought back memories I had forgotten. All those names.

Hi Guys It is nice to be in contact with you again. Afraid I am still in dull old GB. I live in Bletchley which is North Bucks. Now a suburb of Milton Keynes which has been called a city for years but as it does not have a cathedral it is still vying for city status. You have probably heard that MK is famous for its concrete cows, Open University, and the stealing of Wimbledon FC which is now MK Dons in the England and Wales Division 1. I remember playing football for the Tech but not in general other than the mass football match (more of a brawl) in the playground at breaktime. That used to be fun. Icidentally what was the reason for you to shout my name whilst we were playing football was it because I would not pass the ball? I do not remember that. Also the cross country running we were forced into. As I was more of a sprinter I did not think I would make it round but I always did. My memory is a little hazy as to when people left the college. I went on to do 'A' levels in Geography and Geology with Les Gale but I could not hack the artwork required in the Geology syllabus so I started to wag lectures after about nine months into the first year and finished the remaining three months in the common room playing table tennis or over Dave's Cafe watching Les in the poker school and of course eating toasted sandwiches. They were truly deilicious. At he end of the school year( June 1961) I decided to jack the studying in and look for a job which turned out to be British Railways. When did you guys leave? It is disappointing to see that the girl I was soft on at the time has not been in contact. I would love to know what she has been up to in these intervening years. Can you remember who that was? Martin. Where abouts in Oz do you live? I have been twice in 1998 and 2007. I hope to visit New Zealand again in 2011 with a flying visit to my wife's relatives in Melbourne so if this comes to fruition perhaps we could arrange a meeting. Michael. From Martin's email I gather you are coming over to Blighty next month is that right? If so, and you can fit in a meeting. It would be good to see you now that we have made contact.
