So..having allowed the dark brown hair to grow out a bit, whilst Janet was away on a trip I hacked off back to my fighting length and tried again.... This time I'd decided to really try and get this Salt & Pepper look sort of 50% dark and 50% grey... had bought Natuaral Dark Brown this time, mixed up less than one fifth of the jollop and sort of streaked it on, trying to not cover everywhere.. waited the full 20 minutes (noticed that in the first few minutes the grey portions did turn purple, but as the colouring process continued they became blacker) and voila.. I am very happy with the result...
Not too dark with lots of grey... brilliant!!
