These are all taken from our balcony over a period of a couple of days in late March, 2003..

This first one sets the scene for the next. Looking south towards Batam island (Indonesian island on the horizon), a couple of floors above ours, Bougainvillea hanging from neighbour's balcony, then ........zoomed.

Looking South-East towards Bintan island, setting the scene for later zooming.... volcano shaped island right on the far middle horizon, must be 15 to 20 miles away

Same island...zoomed    and then I got carried away with far distant cloud formations. The land on the horizon is Bintan, Indonesia.
