I got a bit carried away by this storm brewing.. and the ships being swallowed up by it..
Storm coming....
But then a few days later I spied an aircraft carrier going through the straits - has to be one that had been up in the Gulf as part of the Iraqi War effort - don't you reckon??
I know it could be a lump of wood floating down a river - but it was about 7-8 miles away - and we could see all the aircraft lined up on the deck, with helicopters swarming around it (I guess keeping guard) - through the bins.
Then Marga arrived...26/04/2003.
New mobile phone and other goodies...
Then we went out to dinner at Chijmes - still haven't got the night-time piccies working properly...
Checking which restaurant to go to - Sunday night - very empty because of SARS
Well... to say the Chavez ladies like their food would be an understatement..
Only a Full Slab of Baby Back ribs And half a chicken in a bun!!
All finished....
But I'm going to sleep now..
Eaten the chicken - can leave the bun!!
I did well!! Hold on - I think there's still a bit left!!
Followed by a walk around Chijmes - just to work off some of the calories....
